What a sensible and positive change you have made for you and your family. I can’t imagine what malignancy corrupts a society so much that they sit by and watch their future head off to school each day to be filled with fear about their community and reminded of the possibility they could be gunned down as they learn instead of doing something, anything about gun ownership. And choosing not to stay in a country that is systematically dismantling a range of civil rights and practices makes absolute sense. Good on you for choosing community and connection.
